Bujinkan Estonia

Began training in Denmark in 1993 and met Sôke the year after at the Tai Kai in United Kingdom. Experiencing Masaaki Hatsumi removed any doubts of having found the martial art fitting him, after having trained several other martial arts.
Settled in 2004 in Estonia as 1st Dan and a year later taught as a Shidoshi-ho in Tartu. But it was not until becoming student and friend of Arneaud Cousergue the inspiration for a bigger perspective in training and Bujinkan became apparent.
Since Bujinkan is sparsely represented in Estonia, and the responsibility of being the only licensed Shidoshi in Estonia (to available knowledge) extends beyond just teaching, the step was taken to follow the vision of an international Bujinkan naming our dojo “Bujinkan Estonia” and the suffix "Tartu Dojo". It the goal to unite Bujinkan in Estonia with respect for possible differences between the dôjôs.
